Important Dates for the Remainder of 2026 Every Business Should Plan For
As summer draws to a close, our attention naturally drifts inward and we start to slow down. Autumn brings several key opportunities to refocus on mental health, team culture, and individual support.
Awareness days are often treated as simple calendar markers, but when approached with intention, they offer a meaningful anchor to introduce practical tools, open honest conversations, and support your people through the changing seasons.
Whether you are supporting a corporate team, an educational institution, or a local workforce, planning ahead ensures these moments deliver genuine value rather than last-minute box-ticking. Here are three key dates approaching over the coming months and how you can bring them to life.
Qigong for Women at Bournville Village Trust
World Mental Health Day: 10th October
Mental health support works best when it moves beyond theory and into interactive, human experiences. World Mental Health Day is an ideal time to create spaces where people feel comfortable engaging with wellbeing, as well as offering the chance to incorporate some team engagement or building activities.
Most of the time, tick-box interventions for these types of days or general mental health are simply lacking intention. Ask yourself: what do we actually want to support the team with, and do we do that? Or even better, ask the team themselves.
Last year, I supported the Hilton Hotel team with a dedicated wellbeing fayre. Rather than relying solely on informational leaflets, we created interactive stand activities designed to tackle everyday challenges, including:
Practical sleep coaching: Offering accessible adjustments to improve rest and recovery.
Confidence coaching: Providing tools to help individuals navigate workplace self-doubt and communication barriers.
Interactive mental health Giant Jenga: Using physical play to break the ice and start grounded conversations around stress, boundaries, and balance.
Creating an open, approachable environment allows individuals to seek out the specific support they need without feeling put on the spot.
Hilton Birmingham Metropole World Mental Health Day
World Menopause Day: 18th October
Menopause affects a significant portion of the workforce, yet it remains an area where many employees feel unsupported or misunderstood. World Menopause Day provides a clear opportunity to normalise these conversations and offer comprehensive guidance.
At the very least, getting women of all ages together to create that support network in-house should be a bare minimum effort. Last year, I hosted an online event for the Hilton Hotel team focusing on menopause from a holistic perspective. By bringing employees together in a supportive digital space, we explored different wellbeing techniques to support this life-changing period for women.
Offering accessible, remote sessions ensures that everyone, regardless of location or work pattern, can join the conversation privately and gain practical insights.

National Stress Awareness Week: 2nd to 6th November
It goes without saying that work can be a big contributor to stress levels. Empowering your team with tools to manage their stress is an easy win for your company, before you begin to look at the root causes.
Last year, I supported several businesses with a mix of in-person and online workshops centered on stress relief techniques and practical tools for managing pressure. As well as sessions purely designed to help people destress and reset—an opportunity they might not get elsewhere in their schedule.
Again, it is all about intention. What does your team need in this moment, rather than what should we put on? Your team will have some tools, but how effectively do they use them? And what better way to support your team than giving them a 30 to 60 minute reset in their working day? Just think about the morale boost after that.
These days serve as an anchor or a checkpoint during the busyness of business. Use them with intention and reap the benefits of a more relaxed, centred, and heard team.
If you’re too busy to organise these types of events, I get it.
That’s why I handle everything. All we need is a quick chat about how you wish to support your team. Book your free discovery call here.
Here’s some Feedback:
“I enjoyed all of the event, Qigong made me feel more energised but the hypnotherapy at the end finished the session off well.”
“Fabulous, engaging and informative event led by two very friendly and professional practitioners. I really enjoyed experiencing something new and learning more about my body and emotions. It provided a wealth of information and actions I can easily corporate into my daily life. I particularly enjoyed the setting and hearing the birds singing outside really enhanced the experience. Thank you for such a lovely morning.”
“thank you for being a fab employer and arranging things like this, it makes us feel very valued :)”
